Taxes

Property taxes are payable four times per year in the Municipality.  The standard due dates in any given year are the last working days of February, May, August, and November.  Although we have four payments per year, tax bills are mailed out only twice in February and August, with two installments on each bill.

The first billing of the year is an interim tax bill, which is based on half of the previous year's taxes.  The second billing is the final bill for the year and is produced after the budget is approved and the Municipality's expenditures are finalized for the year.

Payment Options

Property Tax and Water/Waste Water billings can be made in a variety of ways:
  • Pay at any authorized financial institution on or before the due date
  • Internet or Telephone Banking
  • Mail to 10227 Ilderton Rd, RR #2, Ilderton ON N0M 2A0
  • Pre-authorized Payment Plan (see below for attached form)
