Hours of Operation - Family Day
The municipal office will be closed Monday, Feb. 19, 2024, for the Family Day holiday.
The Komoka Wellness Centre will be open 10 am to 7 pm. Note that normally scheduled shinny and skating are cancelled on Family Day. The Komoka Branch of the Library will be open 10 am to 2 pm, and the YMCA will be open 10 am to 3 pm. Ilderton Arena will be open 10 am to 3 pm.
There is no change to waste and recycling collection.
Recreation Programs
The following recreation programs will not run on Family Day, February 19:
- Painting – Ilderton Community Centre
- Tai Chi – Komoka Community Centre
- Pickleball – Komoka Community Centre
Please note that line dancing classes at the Bryanston Community Centre will be running on Family Day.
Free Public Skating
Over Family Day weekend we have free public skating available:
- Saturday, 1:00 to 1:50 pm - Komoka Wellness Centre
- Monday, 1:00 to 3:00 pm - Ilderton Arena and Komoka Wellness Centre
- These skates are generously sponsored by Riverstone by Sifton and Longworth by Sifton.
Please note:
- All participants must wear skates and a CSA approved helmet.
- Pucks, hockey sticks or equipment on the ice surface is prohibited.
- Normally scheduled skating and shinny are cancelled on Family Day.
