Notice: Asset Management Plan Update


Middlesex Centre is updating the municipal Asset Management Plan, as required the Ontario Infrastructure for Jobs and Prosperity Act (2015). 

Municipal assets include roads, bridges, water and sewer lines, buildings, vehicles, and fire safety equipment, among others.

The Asset Management Plan enables informed decisions regarding the building, operating, maintaining, renewing, replacing and disposing of infrastructure assets. The plan includes a review of the current state of local infrastructure and its desired level of service, and both an asset management strategy and a financial strategy to achieve the level of service desired.

Council will consider the updated plan at their May 12, 2021 meeting. 

The plan will be posted to the municipal website no later than Friday, May 7, as part of the Council agenda package.
