Municipality to purchase former Ilderton CIBC Building
At the April 10, 2024, meeting, Council authorized the purchase of the former Ilderton CIBC Building located at 13211 Ilderton Road.
Given its prime location, the municipality wished to secure the property for future economic development and business opportunities along the Ilderton main street. There is no set plan for the property at this time. Staff will report back to Council with options at a later meeting.
Council approved a 2024 budget amendment to allow the purchase cost of $475,000 (plus applicable taxes and fees) to be taken from the Build Middlesex Centre Reserve Fund.
Upcoming Meeting
The next regular council meeting is set for Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. Please note that regular council meetings will be held at the Ilderton Community Centre for the duration of the municipal office renovation.
