At a special meeting on December 13, Middlesex Centre Council received presentations about the municipality’s Servicing and Transportation Master Plans. The plans will be formally presented for adoption at a meeting in the new year.
Servicing Master Plan
Middlesex Centre has been developing an updated Servicing Master Plan, which will guide policies and infrastructure initiatives for the municipality's water, wastewater, stormwater, and waste management systems over the next 20 years.
Jeff Paul of Stantec, the project consultant, provided an overview of the Servicing Master Plan.
Transportation Master Plan
Middlesex Centre also has been developing a new Transportation Master Plan throughout 2023 The purpose of the plan is to guide policies and infrastructure initiatives for Middlesex Centre’s transportation system over the next 25 years. The goal of the plan is to ensure that there is a multimodal transportation system that will meet travel demands in Middlesex Centre in a manner that is sustainable and compatible with future growth plans for the municipality, Middlesex County, and the Province.
Anna Mori of Arcadis, the project consultant, provided an overview of the Transportation Master Plan.
Next Council Meeting
The next regularly scheduled Middlesex Centre Council Meeting is set for Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. Please note that council meetings will be held at the Ilderton Community Centre for the duration of the municipal office renovation.
